Razaedazzel is dedicated to raising kittens that will be a credit to the breed. We place the health and welfare above all other considerations. I will always be fair and honest in my dealings.

We raise the sphynx because we love the breed.

I have 27 years experience working at and managing a veterinary hospital. I now own a Pet Boarding Facility, Doggy Days & Cat Nap Acres, where we care for pets in an environment where they are loved and comfy.(visit the About Us page for Doggy Days & Cat Nap Acres.

All cats and kittens that I sell will be examined by a veterinarian and have a certificate of health, they will be vaccinated against Rabies, Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis, Panaleukopenia and tested for feline leukemia and feline infectious peritonitis, wormed and screened for cardiomyopathy.

We have a contract that protects your kitten, you and Razaedazzle. A copy of this contract will be made available on this website soon.

Once you have your kitten you have 24 hours to have your veterinarian examine him or her. You also have 48 hours to contact me if your veterinarian finds anything to be concerned about.

If you decide you would like to adopt one of our kittens, we will send you digital pictures of your kittens growth process up to the time of adoption.

We do require a $300.00 deposit to hold a kitten. Deposits may or may not be refundable depending on the circumstance.

If you are interested in adopting a kitten please call one of the numbers on the left. We want to talk to you to make sure a Sphynx Kitty is the right choice for you. They are not a low or no maintenance cat. They are extremely affectionate and need companionship. We want to make sure all our kittens go to loving homes.We do not take deposits on unborn kittens. You will choose your kitten after he or she is born.

All kittens will be spayed or neutered before they go to thier new home, or you may have this done and the registration papers will be given to you after proof of altering is produced.

We will ship your kitten by air if you can not pick it up in person.

Prices vary. Breeding cats, and cats for pets, as well as traits and markings all influence price. The price range is around $900.00 to $2000.00.

As we are particular about who takes our kittens into their home, you also should be particular about who you buy from. Because we are a new Cattery, references to verify our honesty, integrity, ability and desire to provide the best of care for our cats can be furnished upon your request.

This is not a difficult task with a cat that has been accustomed to a bath from kittenhood and it takes no time at all to dry a Sphynx. Because of the size and lack of hair in the ears, owners must clean the ears regularly to avoid wax buildup.

The Sphynx is also not necessarily an appropriate choice for an allergic household. They are not hypoallergenic, despite the lack of hair. They still produce the allergy-causing dander and saliva.

The Sphynx is an affectionate, happy companion cat. They are sociable, alert, and very curious and enjoy the company of humans and other pets.

This is a substantial cat, medium sized and strong, with adult males being larger than adult females. Sphynx have sturdy boning and good muscle development and should have a bit of a belly as if they just finished dinner. They have an open-eyed, intelligent face and a friendly expression. The Sphynx are extremely inquisitive and love to be the center of attention. They perform silly antics for your entertainment and are sometimes downright clumsy…on purpose it seems. They make great show cats because of this "look at me" attitude and they are easy for judges to handle. They prefer human attention but enjoy the company of dogs and other cats. They have an abundance of energy and mischief and are always with you, on you or showing off for you.

ABOUT THE BREED

True show Sphynx have very little hair (on the bridge of their noses and the backs of the ears), but pet Sphynx may have more. Expect to pay more money for one with almost no hair. They are available in a wide variety of colors and patterns.

The Sphynx is not always totally hairless; there can be a fine down on the body, which makes the cat feel like a warm peach. Some light hair is often present on the nose, tail and toes. The texture of the Sphynx skin has been likened to suede

"Hair-free" doesn't mean "maintenance-free". Even fully hairless Sphynx still produce natural oils to maintain a "coat" and because of the lack of hair that would normally absorb body oils they must be bathed regularly (oily cats may leave grease stains on the furniture or develop blocked pores).
